Treen Gloves and Safety Products Ltd. was first established in 1929 as a quality manufacturer of work gloves. The tradition that Treen Gloves and Safety Products Ltd. has of designing a glove to fit the job is now applied to a wide range of personal safety products, respiratory protection, rainwear, hearing protection, head protection, footwear, fall arrest, eye/face protection, clothing, and more. The diversification of the Treen product line continued in the mid 1980's with the introduction of many safety lines to the glove mix, making us the "head to toe" one-stop safety supplier. As the company grew, mining, primarily for forestry, Treen successfully set up alliances with offshore suppliers to import economy gloves while maintaining local manufacturing of specialty gloves, and food processing industries. In fact, Treen has also diversified its manufacturing so far that we are now Western Canada's largest manufacturer of traffic vests and other hi-visibility apparel.
