Walter L. Zebiak started raising houses in Ontario before World War II. In 1947, he relocated to Vancouver and started L.W. Zebiak Houseraising in 1951. Zebiak Houseraising is now raising houses for the sons and daughters of past clients, we frequently hear "Zebiak raised my parents' house." We at Zebiak pledge to offer safe and timely service to our customers. In partnership with these expert renovators we can offer the complete service busy clients require. Zebiak Houseraising's qualified field personnel have over 100 years combined house raising and moving experience.Zebiak Houseraising is a member in good standing with the Greater Vancouver Home Builders Association and the B.C. Structural Movers Association. They continue to provide the same conscientious service and quality workmanship to their clients. Since then the company has raised and moved thousands of homes in the Greater Vancouver area.In 1993, Walter decided to retire at the age of 82. Two employees, Bob and Jere Vickars purchased the company. In our fifty years of operation, we have never had any insurance claims against our company for undue damage to a clients' home or buildings.
